Masonry

Masonry is a highly durable form of construction and is commonly used for the walls of buildings, retaining walls, and monuments. Common materials for masonry construction are brick and concrete blocks. Masonry has been around for thousands of years and made possible the construction of magnificent landmarks such as the Great Pyramids, the Roman Colosseum, and the Great Wall of China. Since then, masonry has been improved through various finding and technologies. Although ancient landmarks used the same system, the materials in modern masonry have become more durable and effective.
